How many poems can I submit?
The maximum number of poems you can submit is five and the minimum is one as long as the total line count does not exceed 105 lines.
Are spaces between the lines part of the line count?
Yes, spaces between the lines are considered part of the line count.
Are titles part of the line count?
No, titles are not part of the line count.
How wide do my lines need to be?
Your lines should be a maximum of 50 characters wide including spaces.
What happens if I exceed the line limits (number of lines and width of each line)?
Entries that exceed the line limits will not be considered.
The maximum line limit per individual poem is 21 lines. Does this mean I have to write 21 lines for my poem?
No. Shorter poems are fine.
Should a poem rhyme?
No, it does not have to.
Is there an exact style and format you require?
I only accept .doc and .docx formats.
How many times can I enter?
You can only enter once.
I think I made a mistake with my piece. Can I submit it again?
Only if the correction is received before the submissions window closes.

You will receive a confirmation email.
What age can enter this competition?
Over 18s.
If my name appears on the work is it disqualified?
Yes. The most common mistake entrants make is putting their name on the work.
